The short version
You do not need an account. The calculators run entirely in your browser — the salary you type is never sent to us, and we could not see it if we wanted to.
What happens to what you type
Nothing leaves your device. Every calculation on this site is JavaScript running locally. There is no server processing your figures, no database storing them, and nothing logged about what you entered.
What we do collect
- No analytics. We do not run any, so there are no visitor statistics, no profiles, and nothing tracking you between pages or between sites.
- Server logs. Standard web request records including IP address, kept briefly for security and diagnostics.
- Anything you send us. If you email or message about a correction, we keep that message so we can reply and track the fix.
Cookies and advertising
Essential cookies only. We set nothing for analytics, because we run none, and nothing for advertising, because the site carries no ads. If that ever changes, this page will say which network, what it sets, and how to opt out, before it happens.
Third parties
Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means Google receives the request for the font file. The site runs on a private server rented from a hosting company, which processes technical data such as your IP address in order to deliver the page. We run no analytics at all, so there are no visitor statistics, no profiles and no advertising identifiers. We do not sell data, because we do not have any worth selling.
Your rights
If you are in the UK, EU, California or anywhere with similar law, you have rights to access, correct and delete personal data we hold about you. Given we hold almost none, this will usually be a short conversation. Write to contact@calculatordad.com.
Children
This site is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the date at the top changes and the change is noted here.
