Tax rules change, often mid-year and sometimes retroactively, and your own circumstances will contain things this site does not model. Before you act on a number from this site in a way that matters financially, check it with your payroll department or a qualified professional.
Accuracy, and what we promise
Considerable effort goes into accuracy: figures are read from primary sources, dated, and re-checked on a schedule. That is a real commitment and it is described on the how we calculate page.
It is not a guarantee. The site is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or current at the moment you read it.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Calculator Dad and its operator are not liable for any loss or damage — including lost income, lost profit, or any indirect or consequential loss — arising from your use of, or reliance on, this site. Where liability cannot be excluded by law, it is limited to the amount you paid to use the site, which is nothing.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Acceptable use
You may use the calculators freely, personally or commercially, and you may link to any page here. You may not scrape the site at a rate that degrades it for others, republish the underlying tax dataset wholesale as your own, or present the content in a way that suggests we endorse you.
Intellectual property
The text, design, code and compiled datasets on this site belong to Calculator Dad. Tax rates and government figures are facts and belong to nobody; the work of gathering, verifying and presenting them is ours.
Links out
We link to government sources and occasionally elsewhere. We are not responsible for what those sites contain or do.
Changes
These terms may be updated. The date at the top will change when they are, and continuing to use the site means accepting the updated version.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the country in which the operator of this site is established, and its courts have jurisdiction over any dispute. Nothing here affects consumer rights you have under the law of your own country, which cannot be signed away.
